Discover how to harness the power of improv to engage, empower, and energize large groups of teens! Designed specifically for high school teachers, youth program facilitators, and anyone who works with teens in educational or enrichment settings, this interactive workshop provides practical tools for leading improv activities with groups of 20–60+ participants.
You’ll learn how to:
- Choose games and exercises that scale for large groups without losing energy or individual engagement
- Manage space, attention, and transitions to maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere
- Foster collaboration, confidence, and creativity using proven improv principles like “Yes, And”
- Support social-emotional learning, communication skills, and resilience through play
- Modify activities for different energy levels, time frames, and group dynamics
Whether you’re an experienced facilitator or new to improv, you’ll leave this workshop with a toolkit of go-to games, facilitation strategies, and the confidence to bring the joy and benefits of improv to your students or program participants—no stage required!
1 Workshop • Three hours
- WHO: Adults Ages 18+ who are educators, afterschool leaders, teaching artists, camp counselors, and anyone looking to create more connection and laughter in teen group settings.

*As we recognize that people take improv classes for a vast variety of reasons - including overcoming anxiety - the Student Showcase is optional, but highly recommended.

- Classes are subject to cancelation if minimum enrollment is not met.
- No refunds are given after the first day of class. Refunds before that date are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Full refunds are only issues in the case of class cancelation.
- We reserve the right to cancel a student's registration if payment is not completed by the due date or if they have a history of not fulfilling payment agreements.
- Observation: Classes are closed to outside observation unless explicitly approved by the facilitator to ensure a supportive and distraction-free environment for all participants.
