Teen Intensive for Ages 13-17

Ready to sharpen your instincts, stretch your skills, and take bigger risks on stage? This fast-paced, laugh-filled intensive is designed for teen improvisers with prior experience who are looking to level up their game.

Through a mix of high-energy games, scene work, and focused feedback, you’ll explore:

• Strong initiations and character choices
• Heightening and justifying in both short-form and long-form scenes
• Active listening and emotional commitment
• Group mind and ensemble work that clicks
• Playing with stakes, silence, and smarter support

You’ll be challenged to make bold moves, trust your instincts, and connect more deeply with your scene partners—all in a supportive, high-energy environment that celebrates growth and fun.

Whether you’re already part of a troupe, auditioning for teams, or just hungry for more, this intensive is your chance to sharpen your tools and stretch your comedic muscles.

Prerequisite: Prior improv class, troupe participation, or equivalent experience.

One Workshop • Three hours

• WHO: Youth Ages 13-17 with some previous improv experience
• WHEN: Saturday, 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM, July 19

*As we recognize that people take improv classes for a vast variety of reasons - including overcoming anxiety - the Student Showcase is optional, but highly recommended.

1. Programs may be canceled if minimum enrollment requirements are not met.
2. No refunds will be issued after the first day of the program. Refunds requested prior to the first day are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Full refunds are only issued if the class is canceled.
3. We reserve the right to cancel a student's registration if payment is not completed by the due date or if they have a history of not fulfilling payment agreements.
4. Observation: Many students are more focused and engaged without loved ones present. However, if you or your student would feel more comfortable having you there on the first day, you are welcome to stay for the first 20 minutes—just be prepared to participate! If needed, we can also arrange a tour of the building or provide an opportunity to meet their teacher before the class begins. Just reach out and ask at the time of enrollment!
5. Participation/Discipline: Our goal is to make our programs rewarding and fun for everyone. If a student becomes disruptive or refuses to participate in an activity, we will ask them to step aside until they are ready to rejoin. If the behavior continues, we will contact parents or caregivers to address the issue. Please note that no refunds will be given to students asked to leave the program due to behavioral concerns.
